Fundamental
differences between Alborz University of Information and
Communication Technology and traditional public and private
universities in Iran include;

Alborz is a virtual university where some 80% of its educational
services are provided through Internet using hardware and
software tools. Traditional universities in Iran offer almost
100% of their services using classical in-class instructions.
Nonetheless, there are some similarities between Alborz
ICT University and traditional universities, as shown in
the following table. The table also shows main differences
between them.
